PageLocker's robust integrated security system has been designed to allow complete flexibility as to the level of security that protects their site. By assigning pre-determined privileges to a user's Profile, PageLocker can tailor security requirements to any specification.

You may want a 'Members Only' section, or need sensitive documents made available to authorised viewers only. Users are assigned to multiple Groups, each Group being assigned certain privileges allowing them access to specific areas of the site, administration function or application features. When a user is logged in, they instantly receive all of the privileges for the groups to which they are assigned.

As a user moves through the site, they are monitored by PageLocker and their privileges verified before being given access to any page or document. If a user attempts to access an unauthorised area they are redirected to a login page.

There is no limit to the number of groups or privileges created so the security of your site can be as detailed as you need it to be.

The user profiles can be extended to included any fields that your application requires. User activity information is combined with PageLocker's usage logs to provide invaluable statistics on website activity rgouped by any of the user profile fields. For example, you can identify the most active organisation accessing your members area or people who have not visited a particular section of the site.
