The FDF extranet is used to document and distribute large amounts of information, much of which is highly sensitive material. FDF needed to amalgamate their main website with various satellite sites and include the following features:

  • Password-protected members' area supporting different access rights for different users
  • Password-protected staff area
  • Full content management for all web and database content
  • User registration pages with various automated emails at different stages of the registration process
  • Bulk HTML email to allow bulk emails to be sent to one or more groups of users registered on the system
  • Staff forum
  • Multiple document archives
  • Data-driven content fed from a new SQL-server database to provide latest news and upcoming events etc
  • Traffic Analysis report facility
  • Form builder application to edit forms
  • Search and advanced search, with option to confine search to current section
  • Accessibility tools to enlarge/reduce font size and change colouring to high contrast
  • All content to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA or higher
