ASP.NET web developer

We have an exciting opportunity for a new developer to join our team.

We want the ASP.Net web developer role to grow to involve the complete IT product life cycle, including research, design, development and ongoing maintenance of the software.In addition, there will be the opportunity to work on our own SaaS applications. Specialist Microsoft Visual Basic Skills are essential to this role, so you will be familiar with using VB.Net, ASP.Net and SQL Server to develop bespoke applications.You will join a small but established team, who report to our Analyst Manager.Our working environment is second to none, as we are located in the prestigious International Space Innovation Centre in Harwell, Oxfordshire, sharing a campus with the inspirational Diamond Light Source project.
For the role you will need to demonstrate:
- An enthusiaism to provide software development and support services of the highest quality
- Your ability to think commercially and deliever solutions to problems that meet and exceed our cutomer's expectations
- Your experience of developing web applications with ASP.Net (vb with Ajax) and SQL Server
- A Degree level qualification in a numeric/scientific or business discipline
- Your understanding of coding with Javascript, Telerik controls and Sharepoint 2007, or a willingness to acquire this knowledge.
